40 acre Gold Producing Claim near Sawyers Bar, California. Asking $50,000 or will offer a lease option, as well. Robinson Flat Claim CAMC# 0285091.

The Claim is located at the convergence of the Salmon, Klamath and Russian Rivers and produces approx. 1-2 ounces per day by sluicing and panning. It is directly down the mountain from a Gold producing mine that has been operational since the 1880’s (within yards of).

The Claim is eligible for BLM Exploratory Permit for heavy equipment. Before I purchased it, the Claim had stood un-mined since the 1950’s. The Claim has one campsite accessable by Forest Rt 41N33 with two trails to the SW midsection of the Claim itself.

The Robinson Flat Claim abutts Sawyers Bar Claim to the SW.

Sawyers Bar, in Siskiyou County was a California Gold Rush mining camp, first in Trinity County (one of the original counties of California, created in 1850 at the time of statehood).

Then following the rush to the Klamath and Salmon Rivers, it became part of the now defunct Klamath County from 1851 to 1874. It was then within that part of Klamath County annexed to Siskiyou County. Sawyers Bar, was one of the largest gold producers in the county that year, along with Negro Flat, Gullion’s Bar and Bestville.
